Richard Poon, a Filipino singer-songwriter and TV personality, is of Chinese descent. Born in Makati, he is a former member of the band U-Turn. Poon has performed in various venues and has written songs, including “Lalala” for Paano Kita Iibigin?. He credits Harry Connick, Michael Bublé, and Jose Mari Chan for influencing his singing style.
