Daniel Padilla

Daniel John Elago Ford, born on April 26, 1995, is widely recognized by his stage name, Daniel Padilla. He is a prominent Filipino actor and recording artist, who made his television debut in a supporting role in the soap opera Gimik 2010. His career took a significant turn when he secured the lead role in the series Growing Up in 2011. Due to his captivating charm, charisma, and exceptional acting skills, he has earned the title of “Supreme Idol” from various media outlets.

Since then, Padilla has appeared in several successful Filipino television series, including Princess and I (2012–2013), Got to Believe (2013–2014), and Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2015–2016). He made his film debut in 2012 with a supporting role, subsequently starring in popular films such as She’s Dating the Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016), and Can’t Help Falling in Love (2017).

In the music industry, Padilla has released three double platinum albums in the Philippines, which include his self-titled mini album Daniel Padilla (2012), DJP (2013), and I Heart You (2014), along with a gold record album titled I Feel Good (2015) and a compilation album DJ’ Greatest Hits (2016). He has also held several concerts, such as Daniel Live! (2013), DOS (2014), Most Wanted (2015), and DJ Classics: Back at the Araneta (2017).

Throughout his career, Padilla has garnered numerous awards in television, film, and music, including the FAMAS Award for Best Actor, the PMPC Star Award for Movie Actor of the Year, and the Luna Awards for Best Actor. He has also been recognized as the Box Office King at the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards and received nominations for three World Music Awards in 2013.
