Cinderella, an American rock band, was formed in Philadelphia in 1983. They gained fame in the mid-1980s with multi-platinum albums and hit singles. The band transitioned from a glam metal sound to a blues rock-based sound in the early 1990s. However, their fame declined due to personal setbacks and industry changes. After a brief hiatus, they reunited in 1996 and sold 15 million records worldwide. In 2017, they announced no plans to reform.
